September 1st

So, I know I promised to make my blog less about food, because after all, it is not a food blog. But sometimes, eating is the most exciting part of my day. Especially when work is so dull and monotonous.

Anyhow, today I ate at this rad locally owned Italian place called Trattoria d' Amore. My sister, mom and I split a pizza and a couple of salads. My mom befirended the Iranian couple that owned the place and they spent a good 20 minutes comparing Iranian and Italian cultures, food and people. (My mom is Italian, and since the other woman wasn't, she couldn't tell how bad my mom's Italian was.)
